We've been plastered

Took a trip down yesterday after Megan's haircut to the house to find the plasterer working away inside!!!

He was finishing off the plaster and said that he had been there for two days.   He said the cornice guy will be there on Monday and then he will return on Wednesday to sand everything.

Had a quick look through and it is amazing how large the rooms look once they have plaster in them, especially my amazing walk-in pantry!!!  Didn't take any pics yesterday as we were coming back today with David in tow to show him how great it all looks, only to find.............

WE ARE LOCKED OUT!!!!!

Boo Hiss!!!   Its the first time we have been in this situation, not nice, but I suppose we are lucky to have gone this long without it happening, so the pics below were taken through the windows.

Looking through dining window to kitchen & study

Megans room

Reverse looking through study window out to kitchen/dining

Master bedroom looking through to ensuite/WIR

Lounge room and entry hall

Will have to get down there during the week for a closer look!

Yeah, I love the plaster stage, and I figure it only gets better from here.

Boo for being locked out, but at least you seem to be able to go on site when the tradies are there.

Happy days are here again...

It is a shock the first time you are locked out but then you get even more excited if you manage to find a way in!!!! Rooms are looking great :-)

Wooo plaster!!!! Your rooms look so lovely and big Janine!! Boo to being locked out that sucks, you just have to hope that some dummy leaves the door open like they did at ours ;)

looks fantastic, starts to make sense of the space doesnt it. Bugger about being locked out though, not looking forward to that bit.

Doesn't a lot happen whilst one is 'cruising'....we had a ball and sorry I wasn't home for you - well sort of sorry!!!!

Everything is happening so fast I can't keep up with all the blogs. What a busy place The Avenue is going to be this summer.

Locked Out is a bummer - have to visit more during the day and hope tradies around. I must be due for another tour.
