Well things were hopping at our house, the lock up carpenters were there in full swing and we now have a bath, and the cavity sliders were being installed as well as our verandah.
I am loving the fretwork on our master bedroom gable and the finial (didnt know what that was before we started this whole process, so now I speak building!!).
Kevin spent almost an hour looking around the house and there are quite a few things that need attention, but to our relief nothing that can't be fixed, so we await his report.
Electrical rough in, ducted vaccuum, ducted heating and plaster delivery will happen within the week and plasterers booked for 18th August, so its all happening.

Drove past late yesterday and wow didn't she look gorgeous. All the fretwork and verandah posts were in; cute turned fascia on masterbedroom.....a hive of activity. Looking forward to seeing finished with verandah roof on.
Great work with Kevin; nothing major is always a plus.

v.nice. Looks like the verandah will be complete soon (bullnose I assume?) Will the top of the roof have matching fretwork/finials? Still tossing up whether to hire an independent inspector or not... was there anything he found to really worry about?
It's starting to look like a proper house with plenty of character, you must be so pleased with the way it's coming together! I'm looking forward to seeing it in real life when we're out at our block next.
