This morning I received a call from Romeo Homes telling me that they need to raise the level of the front of the house by 150mm so that the rear is not sitting too low on the block. I said that sounded good to me and I enquired as to whether we were on track for Thursday's scrape.

We have taps! |
Lo and behold he said that the excavator was on site as we speak............Yahoo!!!!! So after work we all trundled down and this is what we found : -

Scrape it to the left! |
But wait there's more:-

So, after 14 very long months of waiting, we can now officially say:

Tuesday is smashingly good for us. Our contribution.....??
Your company and enjoy.
Thank you everyone for your comments. I think someone up there likes us, as with the torrential rain that has happened tonight, there is no way they would have done the scrape tomorrow (as originally planned) which means we would have been put back a week. Roll on next week, for the next exciting installment
