Met with the lovely James from Premier today to clarify Romeo's price differences. Had to concede price rises on some minor items - windows, oven (changed brand), etc. but relatively happy that we are now on the same page.
So to contract in a week or so, and he anticipates a site start mid - end March, I hope the pile of mulch has been removed by who ever dumped it there before then.
Deb, breezed past your house today and saw you ever so briefly, you obviously didn't recognise David's car and we had to keep going.
Reinsey, lots of activity on your stage but no sign of activity on your block - boo hiss!!

Excellent Janine - pleased so hear you and the builder are back on the same page and moving forward.
Apologies, didn't see you...out all day and back at house tonight with John. Just about to update blog. I must admit - glad we're nearing the end of build, the pace of last 4-5 months and organizing for handover is wearing me down.
You were talking to a little guy in a white car as we went by, you are so lucky you live nearby, it won't be as easy for Reinsey and I to keep such a close eye on things. I can imagine it would get tiresome especially with us desperates hanging on every word you write on your build, while we sit here waiting and waiting
The little guy was one of 2 cleaners - later a lady joined them...they worked extremely hard. Removing protective film on the windows took ages and inside they were dealing with trades walking thru!
Oh, I think we keep each other sane and a good laugh brings everything into perspective.
Woot woot - March isn't too far away!!
I reckon we've got a great support network going - especially Sunday afternoon coffees (that was a brilliant afternoon).
